We were invited to a braai,at West End, alongside the Brisbane River,by the South African Club.We were all eager to get out and meet our fellow South Africans,{Lee, Derrick[with arm in sling after his wipeout on his bicycle] and Keegan joined us} but were most dissapointed to find that they were of the "Eugene Terreblanche" type and must have taken a wrong turn somewhere. They were all nice and friendly until they heard us speaking English, then we were ignored by all and felt pretty much unwelcome!!!! Needless to say, we braaied and buggered off!!!!!!!!!!! We will definately not be participating in any more of their activities!!!!
Now we know why other English speaking South Africans we spoke to were'nt interested in going!
